The Africa Sanction
The Africa Sanction, published in February 2024, is an engaging CIA thriller based in Central Africa, Washington D.C., and Roswell, New Mexico. Outraged by the CIA’s unauthorized assassination of the North Korean President, the Senate Intelligence Committee demands answers. Administration officials attempt to conceal their role in the assassination and deny any involvement. CIA operator James Gill, the mastermind behind the assassination, and National Airlines Sr. VP of Planning Lonny Jones are subpoenaed to testify before the committee. Gill refuses to talk, while Jones claims to have been an unwitting participant.
Meanwhile, the CIA believes that Russia’s mercenary army, controlled by rogue oligarch Yevgen Pirogov, upsets the balance of power in Africa and decides to neutralize the threat. Gill and Jones are secretly assigned to the operation and whisked out of Washington, preventing additional testimony to the Senate Committee.
As the CIA’s African operation against the mercenary force reaches its conclusion, the investigation heats up, and the Senate Committee pressures the CIA to produce Gill and Jones. Realizing that their testimony could jeopardize his Administration, the President demands action.
